Jan 30, 1933 - Adolf Hitler is appointed Chancellor of Germany a nation with a Jewish population of 566,000.
April 26, 1933 - The Gestapo is born, created by Hermann Göring in the German state of Prussia.
Sept 29, 1933 - Nazis prohibit Jews from owning land.
Oct 4, 1933 - Jews are prohibited from being newspaper editors.
1934
May 17, 1934 - Jews not allowed national health insurance.
July 22, 1934 - Jews are prohibited from getting legal qualifications.
Aug 19, 1934 - Hitler receives a 90 percent 'Yes' vote from German voters approving his new powers.
1935
May 21, 1935 - Nazis ban Jews from serving in the military.
June 26, 1935 - Nazis pass law allowing forced abortions on women to prevent them from passing on hereditary diseases.
1936
Feb 10, 1936 - The German Gestapo is placed above the law.
1937
In Jan - Jews are banned from many professional occupations including teaching Germans, and from being accountants or dentists. They are also denied tax reductions and child allowances.
1938
March 12/13, 1938 - Nazi troops enter Austria, which has a population of 200,000 Jews, mainly living in Vienna.
April 26, 1938 - Nazis order Jews to register wealth and property.
June 14, 1938 - Nazis order Jewish owned businesses to register.
July 6, 1938 - Nazis prohibited Jews from trading and providing a variety of specified commercial services.
July 23, 1938 - Nazis order Jews over age 15 to apply for identity cards from the police, to be shown on demand to any police officer.
Sept 27, 1938 - Jews are prohibited from all legal practices.
Oct 5, 1938 - Law requires Jewish passports to be stamped with a large red "J."
Dec 14, 1938 - Hermann Göring takes charge of resolving the "Jewish Question."


Victims:
About 6,000,000 Jewish people were killed, and 5,000,000 non-Jewish were killed.

What Happened?
During World War II, The Nazis kicked out the jews and sent them to concentration camps. The jews were tattooed with numbers that became their new name. The jews ate very little portions of food and water. They ate less than a sheet of bread, verry little water, and sometimes ate very little soup. The jews were never cleaned and carried many diseases in the concentration camps. The Nazis killed many jews while they were ate the concentration camps. The Nazis would kill all those who refused orders. The Nazis also killed for fun, they would kill children and people by making them run naked and try to shoot them in the head as target practice. The Germans created two killing machines. The first one was the creamatory where they would burn their victims alive. The second one was the gas chambers where they would put their victims in and the Germans fooled them by saying that they were showers and once the gas was breathed in the victims had died. All the dead bodies that remained were thrown into a ditch that became a ditch of dead bodies. Many were killed and many are still remembered.

How did it end?

-When the Germans had realized that Hitler had died and later they released their victims.

-When the allies had liberated the Nazis.

-A little before World War II ended.

Is it a "recognized" genocide?
Yes, the Holocaust was extremely recognized genocide, especially since it was, like others, a morose and harsh genocide, for the many killings of the Jews.
